Arthur Carter’s Color Cup Prediction – Kids Magic Routine

This charming routine by Arthur Carter is ideal for children’s shows and family audiences. It combines colorful props, a fun storyline, and a surprising magical prediction that always gets a great reaction.

The magician asks a spectator to choose a card from a deck and place it on the table. Next, you display several colorful paper bags, which are used to cover plastic cups arranged on the table. You also show a chart featuring all twelve months of the year.

The spectator names their birth month. The magician flips the chart over to reveal colored squares on the back. Counting through the months, one square per month, you arrive at a final color — for example, green.

The magician lifts the bag of that color, and inside the cup is a duplicate of the selected card!

The remaining bags are removed to reveal that each cup contains coins or any items you choose to load, creating a fun and surprising ending.
