Rope, Rope, Who’s Got the Rope? – By Ickle Pickle
A hilarious and classy comedy classic from Ickle Pickle! This routine is perfect for magicians and entertainers looking to add strong visual gags and audience laughter to their show.
The Effect
The performer notices a rope dangling from his sleeve. As he pulls, the rope keeps coming—until 50 feet of rope is piled onto the stage floor! Suddenly it gets stuck. Looking down, the magician finds the other end of the rope coming out of his trouser leg. When pulled, the rope shoots back up and out again… only to get stuck once more!
This time, another end is discovered from the opposite trouser leg, and again the rope runs through until it snags. Finally, with a big tug, the rope comes free—revealing the magician’s underwear dangling at the end! Although three ends were seen during the routine, only two remain… one with the comical finale.
