Estimations by Gérard Bakner – Card Estimation Booklet for Card Magic
Estimations by Gérard Bakner is a card magic booklet that teaches how a simple principle lets you accurately tell the number of cards in a packet cut by the spectator, without ever touching it.
Great for card tricks and mentalism style demonstrations, this physical booklet ships separately from our California distribution center. The full publisher description follows so you know exactly what it includes.
Meet the latest from Gérard Bakner, Estimations. This booklet teaches how a simple principle makes it possible to determine exactly how many cards the spectator has cut from the pack, without you ever touching it.
Here is the effect as performed:
The magician stands with his back to the audience. The spectator takes the deck from its case and sets both the deck and the case on the table. The spectator cuts off part of the deck and counts the cards lifted.
A few cards are taken from the lifted portion and returned to the deck. The rest go back into the case. The magician has no way of knowing how many cards are now on the table or how many are in the case, yet you reveal both numbers exactly.
With a foreword by Father Alex, the booklet teaches several effects built on this simple yet highly effective method!
