Color Changing Rabbit

Aging looks used  - This is a compact version of the classic Hippity Hop Rabbit—one of the most popular and entertaining children’s magic effects of all time.

The magician displays a gray rabbit cutout placed under a rectangular cover decorated with a picture of a hat. With some playful by-play, the rabbit is revealed to have changed into a brown rabbit. The transformation is repeated, but the clever children in the audience shout that the rabbit must simply be painted gray on one side and brown on the other!

Pretending to be offended at such an accusation, the magician turns the cutout around—only to reveal a bright, colorful cartoon character on the back instead! To prove there is no trickery, the cover is shown completely empty and see-through.
