Coin Tube – Tricks Co. (Yonezo Mikame)
A rare collectible piece of precision magic! The Coin Tube was designed by Yonezo Mikame (shortly before founding Mikame Craft) and produced by Tricks Co., with this particular piece originally purchased from the British dealer Magictrix. Beautifully engineered in aluminum, it remains a fine example of Japanese craftsmanship in magic apparatus.
The Effect
The magician displays a well-machined aluminum tube with ridged ends, allowing it to be pulled apart into two sections. The tube halves lock together with 2″-apart lugs that also pass through two holes in the center of a normal playing card, completely and fairly blocking the opening of the tube. Yet, one by one, four quarters penetrate right through the card, defying logic and leaving spectators baffled.
